ABSTRACT:
Participants will experience real-life decision making about technology through the lens of an instructional leader and an informational technology professional in relation to creating a digital-age environment in which all students can access appropriate resources to meet their diverse learning needs. Using actual examples from a K-12 district, participants will be guided through activities that produce appropriate questions that address student data privacy, security, digital citizenship, access, effective practice, professional learning, total cost of ownership, and more when addressing the curriculum needs of a school or district.
