Mrs. Harrison plans, organizes, and directs all Technology Services at the Washington Unified SchoolDistrict in West Sacramento, CA. Kim and her team of 11 management, technical, and support staff provide the technical and instructional support across the district of 7,500 students. Under Kim’s leadership, the technical team maintains the network infrastructure, directly supports 13 locations with on-site technical assistance, and supports the mobile device initiative and GAFE environment. In addition, Kim works closely with the certificated instructional technology team to deliver all technology-related professional development and ongoing coaching support for teachers,administrators, and staff.
Mentor
Mr. Ragsdale oversees instructional and information technology operations and initiatives for Hueneme Elementary School District, which serves more than 8000 K-8 students at eleven school sites in the coastal communities of Port Hueneme and Oxnard, CA. Dave and his team of nine technologists maintain all networked infrastructure, including phones, wireless devices, desktops systems, servers, switches, and cloud-based solutions. They support a diverse suite of district-deployed hardware and software, which includes instructional and business applications, as well as student information and data applications. His department also coordinates and delivers technology-related professional learning for administrative, instructional, and support staff. Dave started his career in K-12 education as an elementary school teacher in Moorpark Unified School District. Later he moved on to teach middle school in Hueneme Elementary School District. Prior to his current assignment, he served as Technology Resource Teacher which allowed him to focus on technology training and support. In 2014 Dave completed CETPA’s CTO Mentor Program.
